As many other reviewers have said, this hotel is clean, but a bit dated. The rooms have outside entrances, like an old Holiday Inn. Rooms appear to have been refurbished sometime in the last few years. They are clean and nice, but not fancy. I found the room quite comfortable and even homey. The closet and drawer space was ample. The beds were comfortable. Wifi was above average. The bathroom is where the age of the room was most apparent, with some discoloration of fixtures and old-style tub hardware. Others have said plenty about the location. This would not be a good place to be without a car, because Denny's is one of the very, very last places on earth I would want to eat, and there's nothing else within walking distance. All things considered: I have stayed at a number of moderate hotels in Tempe. Some I would not want to return to. I would be enjoy coming back to this LaQuinta

I have stayed at at least 4 La Quinta hotels (North Seattle, Albuquerque, Mesa, and Phoenix Airport. A U.S. resident recommended La Quinta to our family for overall good value and a good breakfast bar for the price point.

The La Quinta at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is the first one that I have relied on for shuttle service to and from any airport. They seem to go above the airport shuttle service and will take guests anywhere within a 5 mile radius (if shuttle drive can accommodate between airport runs). This is a wonderful added value, and I much appreciated it as I stayed 2 nights between other locations on a recent trip.

The breakfast bar offers a decent choice of protein products; peanut butter, boiled eggs, and yogurt (I think there is protein in yogurt). A couple of varieties of bread, muffins, usually at least one type of fruit, make your own Belgian waffles, all the juice and coffee you wish. I may have forgotten some items.

Another added bonus is that you accummulate points for every stay, and in my case I had a free night after about 5 nights. Nice.

This was the third time I stayed and and the best so far. Breakfast has improved and the fact that you can leave your car for only $30 while on vacation is awesome. I will be staying here again in April.

This is an old La Quinta, but it really is very nice. The rooms are small but clean and neat. Its in a decent neighborhood, and the amenities are just fine. The Denny's is across the parking lot. We have stayed in a lot worse LaQ across the country, this one is just fine. Old but well maintained. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
