My wife, my son and I stayed at this Country Inn for 4 nights during Thanksgiving week, in November 2011. Check-in was quick and easy, as was check-out. The staff was pleasant and cordial. We reserved a one bedroom suite, which was roomy enough for the 3 of us. The room was on the 4th floor on the north side of the facility and was quiet both day and night. The 4th floor was just renovated so the room sported that “new” look about it. The king size bed was comfortable, but my son complained that the mattress on the pull out sofa was not. My only other complaint was that the bathroom was furnished with only 2 sets of towels, even though there were 3 of us registered. That was remedied with a quick trip to the front desk. Wireless internet worked fine, as did the refrigerator and microwave. A computer and printer in the lobby were available for no charge. The breakfast was filling. Everyday there was some kind of an egg dish, some kind of bacon, ham or sausage, a waffle maker, bagels, fruit, juice, cereal, etc. Parking was never a problem. The pool and the surrounding patio were clean. And the location to Sky Harbor Airport was excellent – just 5 to 10 minutes away depending on traffic. Overall, this hotel met our expectations, affording us a good night’s sleep and a good breakfast to start the day in a relaxing atmosphere. If I were to visit the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a room at this place.
