I read reviews before I booked this hotel and it sounded pretty decent. I stayed here because of convenience and price. I travel almost a lot for business and have a pretty good idea of what I can get for this kind of money. The rooms were great. Clean, probably renovated not that long ago. The showers were nice, beds comfy, and they give you a lot of freebies, so not a horrible deal.
It was the noise that got me. They gave me a room all the way in the back of the hotel so I thought I would be ok being away from the main road. Not true. When I got to my room, there was somebody doing some maintenance and I couldn't even hear my tv over the power equipment, but I figured that wouldn't last too long, which it didn't. It was already after 8pm and it seemed that someone was checking into rooms near me every 5 or 10 minutes. Or maybe it was one big group - hard to tell. I could hear every sound! Talking, kids yelling, car lock beeps, suitcases rolling across the floor. This went on for at least a couple of hours. I was on the first floor so the cars were almost right outside my door and it seemed so were all the people. When I peeked outside, no one was there so apparently all those people were either next to me or above me but they sounded like they were right outside my door. I ended up having to stick cotton in my ears and put a pillow over my head to get to sleep.
If you stay here, I would recommend you ask for a room away from the parking to the interior of the facility. If you can get away from the noise, you might be ok. But it is a poor design to have the floors designed with tile because everytime someone walks by with a suitcase, you can hear the thump-thump, etc, etc, etc, etc ,etc. You get my point.
