We have stayed here multiple times while visiting family and we keep coming back! The bedroom concept is great as the double doors can close for privacy while the living area can be used for TV watching or just reading. Kitchenette is convienient with microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Complimentary apples are available as arecoffee, hot water and lemon water near the door enterances to the facility. Breakfast is fine, included with the stay. And if you don't want the same thing, many other places to dine are just a close drive down the street in either direction. Shopping is also closeby. Only 1 negative: pull out sofabed is horrible to sleep on! The bed is heavenly as well as multiple pilllows!

For the last ten years my wife and I have stayed at the Windmill in Surprise when we visit family in Sun City and Glendale. It is a comfortable and clean stately place. Staff are very friendly. We especially like the suite concept with the bedroom separate from the living/kitchen area. Older facility which is very well kept up. Breakfast buffet has much more than what you would find in most hotels.

When we travel to Surprise to visit family, the rooms at the Windmill are perfect for resting and unwinding at the end of the day. I can close the bedroom door and read, while my husband watches TV in the "living room." The staff are friendly, and the rates are reasonable. Anything you might need to buy is readily available at the numerous nearby stores.

We stay at this hotel each November when we come to Phoenix for the Nascar races. The quality of the rooms and the service continues to be outstanding. The entire hotel is just as clean and well maintained as it was when we began coming here over 10 years ago.
