We enjoyed our stay so much a couple of years ago (see our Feb 2009 review), that we chose Karen and Bernie and Jake's Xanadu again. It's even better! The upgraded casita is wonderful, with absolutely everything included...the views are beautiful...truly clean, cozy and comfortable. We've decided to take our brothers and sisters and their spouses next year.....that should be convincing proof that we love this ranch! What terrific hosts! What attention to detail! What friendliness! Thanks again for your warm hospitality Karen & Bernie.....keep spoiling ole Jake.....see you soon!

We spent 2 great nights at the Xanadu Ranch with hosts Karen & Bernie. We stayed in our small motorhome and took advantage of their small "snack shack" to buy some fresh items. The place is peaceful and quiet with lovely views of the mountains and dark, dark skies for a bit of stargazing. It's in the heart of the Sonoita/Elgin wine region so we used it as a base for 3 days of winery tours in the area. We'll definitely visit again.

I stayed here with 2 friends on a leisure visit. We traveled from Tucson to Tombstone. This was one of the stops it is a very nice place! Very comfortable,very pretty views and jake is a cute greeter! I would definately stay here again. Although weather was very very cold this time of yr it was a nice place in general.

We planned a family trip over New Years and traveled with our daughter, son & granddaughter as well as our dog "Lizzie". Bernie and Karen are warm, welcoming and their property affords beautiful views. We stayed in #1 room and even though it was the coldest weather I remember for Arizona our room was cozy and warm, we we able to cook and enjoy games and this room served as our main meeting area. We were disappointed we couldn't enjoy the beautiful patio but saving that for the next trip this spring! Very dog friendly and the Velvet Elvis restaurant a must try. We are already planning a return trip with friends.
