We go to Sierra Vista one time a year for birding. We've stayed at the Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn in years past and while they are nice, they aren't quite the bargain the Best Western Mission Inn is.
Be warned, there are no elevators to the 2nd floor, and the doors open to the outside. The continental breakfast has a waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, along with the usual cereal, yogurt and assorted white flour and sugar pastries. But with the money we saved (most other hotels were over $100 per night and we got the BW for $73 with AAA), we are able to go out for a hot breakfast at a local restaurant if we want.
The rooms are spacious and well appointed, with a recliner, microwave, mini-fridge, lots of conditioning shampoo and lotion, shoe mitt, etc. The towels are soft, and we like how the toilet and shower/tub were separate from the main sink and large counter area.
We were at the back of the property in an end unit and it was very quiet. The room darkening shades and comfortable bed made for a good night's sleep.
