I've traveled to the area once a month over the last couple of years. A previous reviewer is right that all hotels are basically setup for the Military per diem rate. There are no 4 star hotels in the area, no matter how long you look. Having said that, this is the best nights sleep and cleanest hotel I've stayed at in town. The front desk staff was also the friendliest with the best smiles. Will definitely stay here next month and many months to come.

Fairly new motel...very clean, tidy. Staff was exceptional- accomodating and friendly. Great brekfast. very comfy beds, good sheets!
Only negatives...if you are considering this or any other hotel in SV, you will be wise to make reservations in advance of your visit. We made some for the weekend, visited another part of the state, then returned to SV in hopes of staying at the same place...but some military exercise at near by FT Huachuca left no vancancy(s) all over town! Dont assume since this is in the middle of nowhere that there'll always be rooms available. Overall, a very nice motel.

This was our second stay at this hotel. It is your basic Holiday Inn Express. Room size was fine - no sense of claustrophobia. No in room safe but spacious refrigerator as well as a microwave. Bed & linen passable and nothing special. Adequate drawer space. Bathroom OK except for a very weak shower head. Adequate towels and counter space. No sink outside of the bathroom. Good closet space. TV channel selection very good. Generally quiet. Good mirrors. Breakfast included with lots of hot items. Parking free with lots of space and night lighting. Staff friendly and helpful. No WiFi but network cable loaned for free internet access; apparently they had trouble with getting WiFi to work in the past. Cleanliness not as good as last year but acceptable. Another reviewer complained about bugs in the room. We were paranoid when we arrived and looked everywhere in the room and found no bugs.

My first night felt refreshing. Nice room, nice bed, 2 TVs etc... I returned the next night after work and there was a dead bug on my bed. The bed was made but there was a clearly a dead bug at the foot of my bed. I wiped it away and thought nothing of it and even told myself "This must be the season" I tried falling asleep but had trouble falling asleep. I got out of bed and as I uncovered the blanket to get out of bed, there was a live bug crawling near my waist. I called the front desk to ask to be switched to another room but the male voice that answered the phone told me in the exact words "We are all booked up tonight. I'm sorry about the bug problem but there is not much we can do. Maybe I can send up some bug spray and you could use it to solve the problem. The woman next to your room had the same problem and we moved her to the room next to her but she still had the same problem." While he was suggesting the bug spray he chuckled a bit... not sure how to take that but I didn't find that very nice. I have no intention to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Sierra Vista, AZ anymore. Attached to my review is a pictur eof the bug I found near the air conditioning system. After swatting away the other bugs I could not find them anymore.
