We stayed at this hotel for one night, and although the location and price were good, the hotel was just average. The room was outdated but reasonably clean. The one big problem we had was that there was very little sound proofing between rooms, so we could hear other guests talking, walking around, running water, etc all night. Also, the a/c was very loud, so that coupled with the thin walls lead to a terrible night sleep. On the other hand, the staff was nice and the continental breakfast was pretty good and included fresh waffles, mini muffins, cereal, hard boiled eggs, danishes, oranges, oatmeal, light yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, etc.

Overall, I didn't hate it, but I don't think we'll ever stay there again.

I have been in Sedona quite a bit, Stayed at El Portal, for $385, Juniper Lodge $195, but this Hotel was about $90 and very nice, very clean, seemed new. There is a Circkle K within walking distance if you forgot anything. Very handy to "The Hillside" for shopping where you can grab a free ride on the Road Runner to Talaquepaque or Uptown. Good Mexican food at the Javalina up in the Hill Side complex too, and several other Restaurants. I can't remember the name of the one at the top but they had a great Soft Shell Crab Po' Boy.Quiet rooms friendly staff, I will return

We stayed two nights over the Thanksgiving break. I took a friend's advice and purposefully avoided the "uptown" area as it's really not our style. This hotel was nice, clean (our most important criterion). It's not new, but seems to be well maintained, with a spotless bathroom. I had asked for a quiet room as we're light sleepers and they accomodated our request with a room on the second floor, away from the bussle of the pool. A bonus is the restaurant at the sister hotel. Didn't have to go far for an excellent dinner. Overall great experience.

Very helpful staff, the suite was great and ideally placed in Sedona for all the local attractions.
