“Wonderful resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 May 2012 NEW

Everyone from housekeeping and food service staff to concerige to hotel manager were attentive to our every need/desire. The concierge even came outside to take our picture and let us know of upcoming events. Our room looked like it had just been refurbished and was very well-appointed. Comfy bed, superior linens and pillows, fast wi-fi in room. Ate in restaurant on-site 3 times and each meal was excellent. Dining inside or outside was pleasurable with pitch - n - putt golf course and beautiful scenery, pond, lots of flowers and excellent view of red rocks to look at. Peaceful setting yet a very short car ride into town. Great deal on this lovely resort in comparison to many other hotels with extremely high prices. Can't wait to come back.

Room Tip: We liked our room on the 2nd floor, nice view and quiet - no one above us

“Fishy Accounting”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 May 2012

Stayed one night. Credit card charged 3 TIMES for one night. Called hotel. "Not our fault . . . take it up with your bank . . . we didn't do it . . . blah, blah, blah."

Asked to speak to the accounting/bookeeping department. Got voice mail. Asked to speak to the hotel manager . . . . got voice mail of the "food and beverage manager."

Not staying here again. Moreover, we are getting married in Sedona in the fall. Considered Poco Diablo. Ya, not so much.

“Highly recommend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 May 2012

Our room was spacious with a fireplace and hot tub. We were able to enjoy breakfast in bed which was extremely affordable. Our room overlooked the golf course and we had a patio that we thoroughly enjoyed. I would come back in a heart beat!

“Very pleasant stay in Sedona”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 May 2012

My husband and I with 2 friends just came back from Sedona were we stayed at Poco Diablo. We were pleasantly surprised, the pictures do not do justice to the place.
We got rooms on the ground floor facing the golf course and it is so nice to wake up to such beautiful grounds. The rooms are nice size and clean, the beds are very comfortable as they are Sleep Number Beds, the bathrooms are nice and clean with 2 sinks one inside the bathroom and one outside, so you do not have to share one with you spouse.
We had a problem with operating one of the beds and the service guy was at our door three minutes after we called. They put 2 new water bottles every night, and the newspaper is
waiting for you every morning. We had breakfast every morning in the restaurant overlooking the golf course and the menu is very satisfactory. The only drawback is the pool area
it looks and feels more like a pool in a condominium complex, but we came to be active outdoors so we didn’t use the pool much. For sure we will be back next time we visit Sedona.

Room Tip: Rooms on the first floor facing the golf course, our room was #111.

“Beautiful setting, beautiful grounds, average room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 May 2012

Stayed here for one night whilst touring Grand Canyon area. As we were part of an organised tour, we seemed to be allocated the cheapest rooms in this beautiful resort - fairly dark with little natural light - lots of the rooms had balconies over-looking the beautiful grounds - would have made a huge difference to the whole experience.

The room was however spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds and plenty of towels and coffee making facilities.

We had an evening meal, which was very good and a buffet breakfast, which was a little on the cold side and with limited choices.

Overall, no major complaint, simply would have preferred a room with more natural light and/or nice view.

Staff were also very helpful and pleasant.

Room Tip: Ask for room with a balcony even if you pay a little extra - so worth it.
