Nice , clean hotel with good restaurants around. Only had trouble with the pillows as they were kind of hard.

We stayed several nights over the holidays and were extremely pleased with our room, the management and staff, and the overall cleanliness of the property. Our king room was spacious with new paint, carpeting, bed, and TV along with a fridge and microwave--we had a great view of the red rocks, too. The inn is in the process of updating the furniture, but we found our room very clean and comfortable. It is also just a few steps to the grocery store and Red Rock Cafe, a great place for breakfast (especially good if you want to fill up before hiking).
We recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

The 'old' Quail Inn was satisfactory but under the new management things have really been improved. New paint, beds, TV's, larger refrigerator, microwave and couches. Extended our stay to take advantage of the low season and will be returning next year. We recommend Jose's diner south of the motel for breakfast and dinner (no alcohol).

We stayed at this motel just for one night on our way to Monument valley in mid November. Our room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished and equipped with fridge and microwave. We also had breakfast at the Red Rock cafe (next to the supermarket behind the hotel) which is extremely popular and offers good quality food. We also visited the PJ Sports Bar which was a convenient place to go for a drink although we did not try the food. We ate at an Italian restaurant a few minutes walk towards Sedonna which was quite acceptable and again popular. Overall It was preferable to stay just outside Sedona away from the crowds. If you want to just go shopping in tourist shops then stay in Sedona itself but if you are staying here as a base for making trips out to walk in the beautiful scenery then this motel is a good choice.
