“Sweet room with kitchen, great location, quiet courtyard, and quiet!”

Rose Tree has only 4 or 5 rooms around a lovely courtyard. The room was fine, probably hasn't been updated for a decade or two, and it was really nice to have a kitchen and a table for take out food. It was delightful just to hang out on the glider in the courtyard. A block from the busy commercial section, but perfectly quiet. As other reviewers mentioned, Gary, who takes care of the Inn, is very helpful. If you're doing most anything commercial (eg a jeep tour) mention it to Gary and he'll give you a card for a discount.

“Charming!”

My husband and I just returned from 5 amazing days in Sedona. After researching hundreds of hotels, motels, retreats and B&B's.... we chose The Rose Tree. When doing online research, you never REALLY know what you will get when you arrive. Let me say that we were not only pleased, we felt like we were at home with friends. Gary greeted us so warmly that we truly felt like we had a friend in Sedona immediately. He truly cares about your stay in his beautiful little Inn and wants you to be comfortable and relaxed. He is very "hands on" and offers wonderful, valuable guidance to restaurants, trails, sights etc.
The value is great and the location would be hard to beat. The Rose Tree Inn is within walking distance (a couple of blocks) from great restaurants and shopping. We drove a hundred miles in all directions during our stay.... and would recommend doing so to anyone new to the area. There is so much beauty that surrounds the Sedona area that would be a shame to miss. Don't get bogged down in the tourist areas and get out there and enjoy what surrounds Sedona.

4) rooms have a fridge and microwave, & laundry avail wh/ is was a big help!
only negatives: bed wasnt so comfortable, rooms are a little outdated - but are still fine!

“Wonderful Inn and a good value”

We always look for the small, independently owned inns when we go on vacation - and this on is a true gem. We stayed in #5 during our visit to Sedona. The room was spacious with a full kitchen - there are also barbecue facilities outside. The courtyard is a great place for a peaceful (and shady) pre-dinner cocktail hour. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The Inn is well located in uptown Sedona and there are many things within easy walking distance. Gary, the innkeeper has tons of maps for hiking trails and great suggestions for dinner. We loved our stay and would happily go back again.

“Hidden Gem”

We stayed 2 nights in #5. It had a full kitchen, sitting area with recliner and futon and a brand new king bed. They delivered it while we were there. Gary is a very informatve and Zan the cat is real friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and it is very close to the uptown activities. The unit was cozy and comfortable with coffee and tea and a pitcher of ice water in the fridge. Would definately stay again.
