“There's plenty of better inns than this...disappointed.”

First of all, the room we stayed was way too small to pay $269 per night. The tiny tiny bathroom didn't even have a bathtub! The view was only parking lot. The Internet doesn't work in the room and we had to stay entire evening in the gathering room to use the Internet. We were told that our room was the worst room to connect to the Internet. You pay $500 to stay in a tiny motel-looking room without a bath tub and all you can see is people pulling their cars in and out. You won't even have a Internet connection what the benefit of spending that kind of money??? we've stayed different places in Sedona before and this is by far the worst experience as far as the choice of the hotel. If you want a cozy or luxury place, I strongly suggest that you avoid this place. Go to Lanturn light Inn instead you won't regret it. I promise! (-: this place is way over priced!

How I so enjoyed my little weekend "wellness"excursion...The Lodge connected me with fabulous people from a variety of modalities to transform me in the course of one weekend into a calmer, more peaceful and clear person...I so enjoyed my quaint room and the executive chef is just so creative and welcoming, and a role model for healthy ,enjoyable foods and excellent customer service. The staff were engaging and tried to do for each guest special things to help them enjoy themselves..a really wonerful B and B and I will go back...

“Jan 2012 Stay at The Lodge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

We loved our 3 day stay at The Lodge @ Sedona. Originally we were to stay in the Copper Canyon room but when the newly installed cable system would not operate, we were upgraded to the larger Whispering Winds suite. We were very happy that they upgraded us to a larger room at no charge over such a small issue they likely had fixed within 24 hours. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant was vast knowledge of the area. The gourmet breakfasts and appetizers in the afternoon were fantastic. Every inch of this property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, including the exterior. We never even saw a pine tree needle on the pathways. The Whispering Winds suite had a very large, very private patio area with a good view and separate entrance. The only time we went into the mainhouse entrance was to eat. We could come & go from the outside patio area, which was gated. We felt very safe and the property was very quiet & peaceful. The home itself is gorgeous in an Arts & Craftsman style and the common area rooms were large & comfortable. We will stay here again.

Room Tip: Originally we booked the Cooper Canyon room and we loved the decor, which was very Ralph Lauren, ups...

“Loved the Lodge at Sedona”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

the Lodge is a reaaly special place...it takes maximum advantage of the beauty of Sedona.....the moment you come onto the property you are struck by the great care they have placed in making this one of the most beautiful bed and breakfasts we have ever visited....the breakfasts are exceptional and very inventive recipes.....the roooms while small are very well laid out with great decorator touches that take full advantage of the space....our only suggestion would be to use a queen bed instead of a king to open the space.....we took our dog and she was welcomed like a special guest by all of the staff......the staff was wonderfully professional and friendly and went out of their way to help with restaurant choices and places to hike......we would go back in a heart beat!

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge in Jan 2011 for two nights. This was not our first stay here....our fourth in fact, but our first in this room. We booked the Red Rock Crossing Suite at $349 per night. The description said that it has a private terrace with hot tub for two. We were both a bit lost for words when we got shown to our room. The most expensive room, with a private bathroom and private terrace was not private in the least. The entrance from inside the lodge is just opposite the office door and entrance hall. All the windows from the room faced out onto the parking lot and the main path to the office, so we could not have the blinds open or the windows as we could hear and see all the coming and goings of people checking in, unloading etc. The "private" bathroom had windows on the parking lot side and a door with a window (the second entrance) that was next to the office window and anyone passing the end of the path. The "private terrace" was accessed out the bathroom door, past the office window...hope that no one is walking by and through a gate. Once in it feels pretty private but they could have screened off the office window and brought the fence around to create a true "terrace". I did address this after our stay and they told me they were going to make it more private, but they can't move the whole room!
The bed was comfy, the hot tub fabulous, the serene atmosphere relaxing. We would possibly stay there again but in a different room. We are going back to Sedona later this year and are exploring other places to stay.
