This is a small operation in a beautiful area outside Sedona. Basically three rooms each with its own cooking facilities. Due to the vegetation, only the "Amigos Suite" offers much of a view. It is on the second floor and has a great view of Cathedral Rock through the trees. No services and no staff. Management is just a phone call away. Property is up for sale so anything could happen. Sedona, itself, has turned into a total dump so being a bit removed is a huge plus. There is some great hiing near this location. You absolutely need a car. The property next door, about 30 feet away, is a rather unattractive trailer compound and the privacy fence had just fallen down when we stayed. I would ask if it has been replaced. Really can't call it a good value, but nothing in Sedona is!

I must say the Cathedral Rock Lodge was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay. We stayed in the cottage and absolutely loved it. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we were really sad to leave. The bathroom with the secret garden was wonderful and having a private patio with a grill was a real bonus.I will highly recomend this place to anyone I know thats planning to go to Sedona. We will without a doubt stay there again the next time we go to Sedona.

Booked this based on TripAdvisor reviews, and we couldn't have been happier. We traveled with an infant and the property accommodated us greatly - set us up with a crib. The size of our accommodation was terrific - separate kitchen, bedroom and bathroom (as well as a loft that we didn't use.) The grounds were beautiful and we were able to take family pictures in the hammocks. The owners were very nice and welcoming - we felt like we were staying with family friends for a couple of days.

The drive to Sedona only took a few minutes, no big deal for us. If you want to stay in the heart of the action, maybe this isn't the place for you. But for the price and the size of the accommodations, this was the highlight of our trip to Arizona.

The Cathedral Rock lodge was a home away from home. We loved staying here. The beds were very comfortable, the fire warm and the Kitchen fully furnished. The views were fantastic.
The picture window looks out onto Catherdral Rock. Quite away form the hustle of the city center. The grounds are imaculate and would be great in the warmer weather to hang outside in a hammock. If you dont like Hotels where the only place to relax is your bed, choose the Cathedral Rock lodge.
