We just returned from a wonderful visit to Sedona AZ and stayed at Las Posadas bed and breakfast/small hotel. The rooms are actually two room suites with a fireplace that divides the sitting area from the bedroom. The bathroom is large and has a great shower, soaking tub and twin sinks. Our upstairs room, the bougainvillea, had great views of the red rocks. The bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was served in a large dining area where there were also two fireplaces. Tables were set up so you could dine with someone else, or by yourself. The two chefs, Kathy and Nancy are great chefs and most generous with conversation, but not overbearing. Each day is a new menu. You will not possibly walk away hungry. In fact my husband and I only ate breakfast and dinner each day.
Dory at the desk assisted us with dinner suggestions that worked out wonderfully; Elota, Cucina Rustica, and Javalina. In addition, Dory had good ideas for hiking and shopping. Sedona is a national treasure from a natural perspective and this place is a great place to stay while you enjoy it.
