Very nice hotel. The rooms were huge and the beds very comfortable. The shower was massive - 2 shower heads, but no door, so if you turned on both of them the water flooded onto the bathroom floor.
The location is very convenient if you are planning on hiking the trails on the west side of town (Boynton Canyon area, Chimney Rock and Coffee Pot).
Walking distance to a number of restaurants, but the sidewalk is extremely dark at night - the only light is from the cars going by. Ate dinner at Reds one evening. The food and service were very good, although our table was right next to the bar area with just a divider separating us. There was a large and very loud and somewhat obnoxious group in the bar right behind the divider that kind of ruined the dining experience. There were a number of empty tables in Reds, so not sure why they chose to seat people in that area.
Overall a good hotel. Would recommned it and would stay here again.
