“Don't Believe the Bad Review!!!!!!!!!!!!”

This was an absolute oasis. Quiet, peaceful, tasteful and clean. My room had a balcony which had stunning views.I meditated under a copper pyramid, played the crystal bowls and found myself calmer than I had been in awhile. There is a hot tub, flotation tank and steam room also a kitchen and well stocked library. The proprietor was very helpful sending me to the best shops in town for what I was looking for.
This is a great place for people on a spiritual path.It is not the kind of place to stumble back to drunk at 2 am.If you like yoga and clean living you will be very comfortable here.
It is amazing how powerful a bad review is. I almost didn't stay here after reading the other bad review listed here thinking who needs that. But after touring about 5 other places which ran the gamut from nightmarish to depressing($60-170) I decided to check this out. Boy,am I ever glad I did. I was happy with everything about it.The love is in the details and they are everywhere. This is the real deal. A healing center for people who get that concept.

“Just like home”

Great atmosphere. They had a memorial service for the owner. The place was full of great people from around the world paying tribute to JohnPaul. There were flowers, warm people and we were made to feel right at home even though we never met JohnPaul. Lovely grounds, good food, accommodating staff. The children enjoyed hiking the adjoining wilderness.

“Loved the Healing Center”

This is my fourth visit to Sedona and my second to the Healing Center. I've yet to meet the owner, but Robert, the manager, is warm and gracious. The kitchen/ dining area on the third floor has provided welcome opportunites to converse with other guests and staff while resting after a day in the red rocks. Upon arriving, my friend found herself with a migrane; the staff moved heaven and earth to find medicine, a kindness which made our visit infinitely more fun. Meditation room also lovely. The price, ($75 for two), is well below market, and so perhaps we look generously upon the jacuzzi. For the outstanding location, warmth and compassionate service, we recommend this to all our friends and especially the spiritual traveller.

“The only place to stay in Sedona !!!”

I travel across America and Europe a great deal. I have stayed at the Healing Center many times. It's the only place to stay in Sedona, which has become so commercialized. It's peaceful, private, surrounded by forest, a great staff of volunteers, near swimming and hiking and off the beaten track. Use of the kitchen and the openness to come and go as you please is more European, so I feel right at home. If you're looking for the Motel 6 or Holiday Inn, this is definitely not it. You'll find them along the highway with all the hubbub of traffic and t-shirt shops. Highly reccomended for the world traveler. The spiritual nature of the Healing Center and all the natural therapies offered there may be a breath of fresh air for those interested, but may put off the typical American tourist.
It was built on donations and the owner/builder, John Paul, is a soft spoken gentle teacher and guide who is always open to listen to your problems or adventures of the day.

“Loved the healing center!!!”

A wonderful place for relaxing, meditating, healing, learning about yourself in a quiet non-judgmental atmosphere. It is my home away from home as it is for many people around the world. John Paul, the owner and builder of this beautiful center is a quiet unassuming man who makes you feel welcome and part of a family. I have met many wonderful spiritual people from all over the world there, which is why it is my favorite destination, as is Sedona.
