Overall, it is a nice little resort with a nice pool and three hot tubs, one being an adult hot tub. But you can only have four or less people, as having five for us was a true nightmare. The rooms were also very overblown on the website, it looks like it big in there and raises expectations, only to find when you get there how small and tight the rooms actually are. Some nicknames we came up with were the caboose, the glorified trailer, and the hut. You can order food from the bistro there, but the food is generally bad and there are much better restaurants in Sedona to go to. The concierge there was super friendly. But she even hinted us not to get the bistro food. That wasn't a good sign. The rooms were not very clean either. The kitchen equipment was very dirty and had to be rewashed by us. There is also NO OVEN. The sheets were very dirty as well. The couch beds sheets had brown stains all over, and I had to ask for another set of sheets. I also asked for an extra blanket, when we got it, it had burn holes in it. If you have AT&T you get no reception and wifi there is terrible and usually doesn't work. The land line phones didn't even work well. Overall, it is a nice resort , but accommodations are very small. If I visit Sedona again, I will not stay here and i do not highly recommend it.

Room tip: I would suggest going somewhere else if you have four or more people, and if you want to bake anything.

I had to stay at this property, check out and return because they didn't have consistent availability. The first unit was spectacular. I actually said to myself, I could live in a small home like this. Premium finishes, quality built, etc. The second unit was older and very much like an old motor home. Moreover, there were at least 2 mosquitoes in my unit which had a nice feast on me throughout the night. If you can get one of their newer units, do so. Otherwise, go a little further out of Sedona and stay at their sister property, The Highland Resort in Cornville, AZ. Photos are of the first unit. I didn't want to photograph the second unit. Cooking, dining, lounging, sleeping, bathing facilities of 2nd (older) unit were reminiscent of 1979 compared to the photos shown.

Room tip: As for a new unit, if possible, to get a nice room. Otherwise, expect the atmosphere to be like staying in your parent's 20-year old camper. All photos of first unit.

I traveled with my 12 year old son and we really liked staying here. If you're going to stay in the Sedona area for more than a few days, this place is perfect. It's located about 5 miles south of Sedona and 1 mile from Red Rock State Park.
The units are cleverly laid out cottages with cathedral ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen with a convection microwave, dishwasher, etc, a light a roomy bathroom with a small jacuzzi tub, and tons of storage space. It also had a queen sized sofa bed that made it perfect for up to a family of four. We had a small deck that wrapped around the back of the unit and we had a beautiful view. We heard coyotes at night and roosters in the morning :) we also saw a road runner!
The grounds were well kept and the salt water pool was large and great! There were activities everyday and an information breakfast where representatives from some of the recommended tour companies each gave a little presentation. The staff was friendly and helpful and Peggy the concierge was great!
The food at the Bistro was good but be aware that they automatically add a gratuity to your bill and they close at 8pm and on Mondays.
My only complaint was that we never got our maid service. I called about it and was told they would be there that day, but all we got was a bag full of clean towels dumped on our porch. The Front Desk Manager Michael was very apologetic and gave us a $50 gift certificate to the Bistro which was nice.
If you're only visiting for a few days you might want to stay right in town, but for a week or so this place was great!

Room tip: We stayed in Unit 122 which is up the hill in a quiet section with a nice view but is also within easy walking distance to the main desk area and the pool.

We spent a week at Sedona Pines Resort with another couple recently. Each couple had a one bedroom unit. These are small modular homes that are nicely stuccoed in earthtones on the outside. We had been by this resort on a previous Arizona trip and really were not certain that we were going to be pleased with the setup since it appeared that the timeshare units were smaller than what we were used to. Our unit had a small kitchen, small, but nice living area and a tiny bedroom. The free space was not much more than 18 inches around the bed, but there was plenty of room to hang clothes and put things in drawers. We attended a breakfast put on by the resort on the morning following arrival. We expected to be hustled by timeshare salesmen, but this was not the case at all. Marketing people from many of the local attractions made short presentations on their sites. Tickets and other prizes were given. It was really quite informative. The breakfast was good too. There is a hot tub and a nice pool on the property as well as a restaurant that is open to the public. Each unit has a nice deck for socializing before or after activities. The property is immaculate and offers a weekly cleaning during your stay. We contacted housekeeping twice and in both occasions the employees were at our door in minutes! For instance we couldn't figure out how to set the alarm clock. Housekeeping showed up instantly with a brand new, simple alarm clock! Sedona Pines is in a quiet area between Sedona and Cottonwood, but it is convenient to everything in both of those towns plus Clarkdale and historic Jerome. This was our 4th trip to the Sedona area and we found ourselves spending more time exploring the Cottonwood area than in the past.

Room tip: Get a room near the back of the property to get away from mild noise at the pool.

Our experience here was excellent. Great place to bring you're family. Was happy with how clean the place was. It was quiet and people were very nice. The rooms were just the right size. The only thing I was unhappy with was that the grills by your cabins were not allowed to use. We had to walk to the grills. We enjoyed the golf, basketball and ping pong.
