My wife and I just spent a week at Sedona Pines Resort (Unit 707). Driving in, I was not impressed by the building that contains the front desk and restaurant - maybe one of the ugliest buildings in all of Sedona. However, check-in was a breeze and the front desk staff and concierge were very helpful and informative. The location of the resort is 5 miles from the center of Sedona, but the drive back and forth was very scenic and easy.
The resort itself is very clean and very well-kept. Grounds are immaculate. Our unit, like all others, was a modular house the size of a double-wide trailer, the exterior was stucco. It was perfect size for two persons. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom was good-sized and the bedroom was small, but it had good closet and cabinet space - the design was really good. Bed was comfortable and overhead fan was a bonus. The combination living room-dining room was nice. The unit had everything one needed - plenty of towels, kitchenware, dishwasher, big refrigerator/freezer, flat screen tv's, great a/c, and the place was quiet. There are man-made brooks and fountains throughout. The main pool was ok - not enough chairs or umbrellas, and the resort had a miniature golf course that was fun - also it was very well maintained. We needed maintenance assistance on 2 occasions - to set the code for the room safe and for a...My wife and I just spent a week at Sedona Pines Resort (Unit 707). We did not try the restaurant on site, but did use the free laundry facility which had lots of washers and dryers. Great to have when you are on a longer vacation. All in all, it was a really nice place to stay and we would stay here again.More
