“Beautiful, clean and tranquil”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

This was a great getaway for my family for the week between Christmas and New Years. Sedona is so beautiful, and the units at Sedona Pines are very private, with lovely clean facilities. We rented two units, one for my wife, our 10 year old son and myself, and one for our grown daughter and her boyfriend. We had a wonderful time in Sedona, there are so many great restaurants and hiking destinations. Their was a little man-made stream running behind our unit, so the sound of running water provided nice white noise when we were falling asleep. The pool was heated, so even though the highs were near 60 degrees in the daytime, it was still fun to spend time swimming and playing in the pool. Their was a very private adult hot tub right across the street from us, but there was never any noise or commotion.

“A Unique Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

The Sedona Pines Resort is located off Highway 89A between Sedona and Cottonwood, Az. The Units are called "Casitas" and feature fully equipped kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms in compact space. Although small, they are comfortable. Two bedroom units require a short walk across a deck to a separate one bedroom unit. Very nice if sharing space and desiring privacy.

The deck/patio has a nice table and chairs and a charcoal grill. A gas grill is also available. The staff is another asset. They are enthusiastic and very helpful. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent.

Laundry facilities are on site and free. Each unit has a laundry basket and complementary soup and dryer sheets.

The views are amazing!

“Nice, but Time share”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

Nicely appointed, very clean. No views from the casitas, and it's located waaaay out of town. Very quiet, free wifi, but awful phone reception for ATT. Reception staff were very helpful, and we appreciated the free laundry. Would have liked better tv's.

We got a great deal on 2 nights, but had to endure the 90 minute time share talk. Although they say it won't be high pressure, it was, and the woman got very rude when she realized we weren't going to buy.

“Nice Assortment of Activities”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 December 2011

My husband and I stayed here in January of 2011. We loved the weather during this time of year. The property is clean and quiet. It is located a few miles from town, but the variety of activities offered by the resort help to make up for it: we listened to a great Native American flutist, heard a talk on the history of the local Amercian Indians, attended a new-age musical soloist performance, and saw a jewelry show. The rooms are detached from one another and are like little cabins stacked next to each other. They are well-stocked, updated and clean. The gym is very small; we enjoyed walking the property for exercise though. If you don't mind driving for shopping, local activities and restaurants, this is a quaint, friendly place.
