Ok, we picked this "resort" as it has a kitchen. it's on the west side of Sedona, so it's going to be about 6 degrees warmer than the north Oak creek area. Had newish working appliances, flat screen TV's, Washer Dryer. Stayed in 152 about as far west as you can get next to the big spa. Which turned out as a blessing. The other pools are on the small side for a resort and crowded, we pretty much had the spa to ourselves. They do showings and have maint storage by here so there's lots of day traffic, but we weren't around much so not a problem. There's no restaurant/grill (so it's not a full service resort). We had one maint problem and they responded quickly. They were having internet problems while we are there, but sound like they are upgrading. Rooms are clean, carpet will need an update in about a year. This was a last min decision to stay and we were pleased that it was as advertised. We did not get harassed to buy a time share as other's have stated. There are some great hikes near by. For night star about 15 min away drive back towards town and make a right on dry creek road, stay left on boynton pass when it T's make a left, second parking lot on the left. was told that some night there will be telescopes here, even without...Ok, we picked this "resort" as it has a kitchen. it's on the west side of Sedona, so it's going to be about 6 degrees warmer than the north Oak creek area. Can also go the top of airport vista, but there are more city lights here. Easy hikes are airport mesa, bell rock, and Cathedral. Go see one of the only ancient calendars in the US at V bar V ranch south on 179, just past 17. And for something completely different check out the Buddhist Stupa early in the morning.
