Stayed one night for business didn't choose was booked here by my hosts, the hotel on first glance is impressive recently renovated all parking new and nicely done, friendly staff great bed and big flat screen in the room with free wifi.....but...

There are serious noise problems, don't stay near the elevator as its noisy.
In addition the walls are not sound proof and you can very easily here what's going in the other rooms and the most problematic was the plumbing that made horrible noises every time someone above me flushed or the room next took a shower it was very noisy.


Will not stay here again.
I don't know if this was isolated to my room or not since I got in so late I didn't change my room and checked out in the morning....

I love the newly renovated Marriott Courtyards popping up across the country. For your basic needs, it has everything, without the nickel and diming of the higher class hotels ( regular Marriott hotels included); free wifi, free parking, laundry facilities and even a pool with jacuzzi.

We stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding at the JW Desert Ridge Marriott. The location is convenient if you have car. There are lots of places to eat nearby.

I thought the price was a little high for a Courtyard, but the room was so nice and clean...the staff very kind...the check in clerk knew who I was when I walked in...how many 5 star hotels do that?? But very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the A/C...good location for shopping and going out to eat...Yes there are the resorts in Scottsdale, but if you want a good clean and comfortable room, Marriott always seems to know what they are doing...
