We waited in the office (which is a condo rental office) for over an hour til we finally got hold of the so called manager that made me drive 10 minutes to their office and grab the codes and info sheet. The units are nice and the pool is great but if you are expecting a hotel this is not. The phone was never hooked up for the length of the stay even after we complained. If there was a fire or police incedence we would have died. Give this a miss the management is horrible and god help you if you arrive late you will have to sleep in your car.

In a world ful of inpersonal Marriott's, Hilton's and other big national corporations where you are as important as your frequent guest number where the typical "perk" is a microwaved muffin for breakfast I found a great alternative. On this recent trip to Arizona I wanted something different, something better. I found it with Sonoran Suites, a vacation rental in Kierland in Scottsdale. A great two bedroom condo (even though I only reserved a 1 bedroom, free upgrade without asking!) and a staff that the best resort in town wishes they had working for them. I wasn't sure what a vacation rental was so I called, Chris explained what they offer, and let me tell you, this is a great place to stay. Huge condo, all the furnishing, full kitchen, king bed, 2 bathrooms. It was awesome to say the least, and Chris knows this area as well as anyone - he set me up for great golf, gave me names of good restaurants and a great place to watch a baseball game. I'll stay here again, I would recommend this to anyone.

This is the second year we have booked a condo with Sonoran Suites. We got such a great rate last year because we booked at the last minute during a recession. We had to pay a bit more this year but the rate was still a great value. We slept the 2 of us and our 2 kids in a two bedroom condo for much less than we would have paid for 2 adjoining rooms at a hotel. Throw in a full kitchen and the living room and the value is excellent to say the least. The pool is great, I know they have a few locations in Scottsdale for their vacation rentals so if you have a preference make sure to let them know like we did. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and we appreciate their local knowledge of the area.

I had the pleasure of booking a golf vacation for a group of six golfers through Sonoran Suites.
From the moment I contacted Ryan at Sonoran Suites I was impressed how quickly he responded to my requests and put a golf package together for us including a beautiful condo, the golf courses and rental cars.
Our condo was a fabulous complex in a gated community in an upscale area of Scottsdale Arizona. We had a three bedroom condo (about 1400 square feet) with a fully equipped kitchen, a gas fireplace and an ensuite laundry room.The facilities in the complex were amazing and included a gorgeous pool area with a sandy beach, waterfalls , two hot tubs and a great gym. We spent many an afternoon exchanging stories on nice lounge chairs around the pool. The condo itself was spacious and very clean. Even being very close to Scottsdale Airport, it was quite quiet and secure. The local residents were all nice and friendly. We even used their bar-b-q's one night for dinner. We prepared meals each day in the condo which saved us enough money to go out for a couple of fancy dinners. The pictures on Sonoran Suites web site were exactly what we got.
The condo is surrounded by a private golf course and had great shopping and dining within a 15 minute walk. The local plaza with a Safeway was only a five minute walk away.
The golf package Ryan put together for us was just short of incredible. I only wish we could have gotten out for more replays in the afternoon. If you really like golf, you should book your replays as soon as you get to the course or in advance.
We were on the road every day before sunrise and there is not much of a better sight than a desert sunrise and sunset.
We saw lots of wildlife on the golf courses and had great weather. This whole vacation was one of the best I have ever had.
If you want a nice evening out, you can walk to Tommy Bahamas Restaurant and store in about 15 minutes for a great time.
We were even lucky enough to see hot air balloons in the sky each day.
