We stayed here in late January 2012 on a timeshare exchange. The property is very spread out. Our room was large, comfortable, up-to-date - the mattress was awesome! There is a full-size fridge, a tiny sink, and a microwave (no stovetop) in the "kitchen" area. They are doing some renovating in the lobby area. I think they may be opening up a restaurant in the future, altho during our stay you could still eat breakfast and lunch on the patio. The pool/spa area was right in front of our building (#6), but it was quiet even while in use. Beware that the parking is a pain. If you stay in buildings 5 & up, you are going to have a quite a walk to get to your room. They do have golf cart bellhops if you choose to spend your vacation $$$ on tips. We used a bellhop to get our bags & foodstuffs into the room but then walked to and from the car the rest of the week. It seemed like most folks were back in at the resort after 4 p.m. to get the closest parking spots - and those spots end before building 4. Also, the only guest laundry area is near the pool area in front of building 6. We would stay here again (if our favorite resort in Scottsdale wasn't available) due to the quiet atmosphere & convenient location. At least we'd know ahead of time that our days of hiking will begin at the resort vs. at the trailhead.
