Based on what we had read here on Trip Advisor, our stay was pretty consistent with what others have written. Great location, the staff were helpful and the accommodations were good. A great value.
We read about the noise so expected it especially for a Thursday evening. However, what we experienced was much more. After a fun night of dinner and drinks, my girlfriend and I were both awoken around 3:30 am by a man and woman coming into the room next door. It started out with very loud talking as the walls are very thin. But it later escalated to much more between the couple – some loud screams, etc. Around 4 am they attempted to cover their activity with loud music and we finally did something we have never done and called the front desk. We couldn’t get the air conditioning fan to work. To the credit of the hotel employee/security, they quickly went to the room and confronted the occupants. I would categorized the exchange as “interesting” and weird. I could be wrong but I wasn’t sure if the hotel had dealt with these occupants in the past. The area is busy with fun clubs so wouldn’t be surprised if some of that spills over to the hotels in the area. I hope the hotel takes this into account with late arrivals and careful where they put people into rooms. I’m don’t think our neighbors were happy with us noting their room bill was stomped and strategically placed in front of our door as we left that morning. That made me feel a little uncomfortable but I don’t think they stayed the entire night/early morning.
We are young ourselves and appreciated the clubs in the area but I’m so glad our kids were not along this trip. Obviously this hotel can’t control this but they could attempt to reduce the noise with better insulation between rooms and maybe with carpet. I’m one to pass this off as “one of those things” but not so sure I'd give it a try again. I wasn’t ever able to get back to sleep and I’m sure not the impression the Indigo wanted to leave with us.
