“Repeat Guest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Third or fourth time I have stayed at this property for AZ golf weekend. Off the beaten Scottsdale path but if you're not worried about being down the street from P.F. Changs or Applebees, the Radisson Fort McDowell could be the place for you. Well maintained property and rooms. Excellent (Sleep Number) beds. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool and poolside bar. Beautiful mountain views. And just across the parking lot from WeKoPa Golf Club. Find smoke laden casino to be biggest negative.

“Great for Gamblers”

Visited for pleasure over New Years weekend. Normally stay in Scottsdale and make a day trip to the casino, but wanted to be one location for this short trip. The hotel is lovely, rooms clean and comfortable. Pool area is great--plenty of loungers and space. Did not try the restaurant, but ate instead inside the casino and one lunch in Fountain Hills. Speaking of which, this is a lovely community with a small lake and park; also town center quite walkable. My only negative is that the hotel charges a $10/day resort fee, but I'm not sure what we got for that. Would stay there again, though.

“Not Scottsdale”

Dont get confused. This is a gambling resort and in no way close to Scottsdale. I failed to do proper research. Nothing much to shout about at all. Basic with very few things to do or places to visit closeby. One restaurant only. Waste of a night......lucky it was only 1 night. If you want Scottsdale proper ensure you on Camelback rd.

“Breathtaking Views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

I visited Arizona for a meeting and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Radisson. I expected a typical conference hotel. Instead I was surrounded by beautiful, stunning views of the surrounding mountains and was upgraded to a junior suite. The staff were friendly and met all my needs. The only negative critique I have is the sleep number bed. I've slept in better beds and the pillows were a little flat. I'm not a casino lover so I can't speak to the casino experience but guests receive a voucher upon arrival. I definitely plan to return and bring my family in the future.

“Lovely stay”

I stayed here for business in Jan 2012. I found it to be most enjoyable. My room was clean - coffee and water complimentary. I was not a fan of the sleep number bed, but those are being replaced according to the staff.
Speaking of the staff...they could not have been more helpful! The food was wonderful and the dining room staff was very attentive.
I highly recommend for business functions. For personal travel, there is a lovely pool area, but be aware that the setting is very remote.
I didn't go to the casino.
