“Nothing special”

Just on my way home from a four night stay at the Villa, arrived at 2 pm and room was not ready went and sat by the pool for 20 min until it was ready. Directions to get to the room were a little to be desired took us about three laps around parking lot to find the right building. The rooms are way outdated and are just blah! I would not stay here again, just too many other nice choices close by.

Room Tip: Maybe ask for a renovated room

“Internet is awful, if you need a reliable Internet connection do not stay here.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

Middle of the road in terms of Scottsdale resorts, although priced above that. If you have to do any work activities that require the Internet you absolutely cannot stay here because you will lose your mind waiting for a connection, then dealing with the slowest Internet in existence in today's world and getting booted offline every 5 minutes. It's so bad it's unbelievable. Not only that but you have to pay $9.95 to hook up with it. Reasons given by the staff for poor internet? 1) it's AT&T's fault, not ours, here's their 800 number; 2) are you sure the problem is not with your computer? I stay in 50 some hotels a year and have never had a problem with the wireless Internet so no the thought of it being my computers fault didn't enter my mind; 3) our emphasis is on giving our customers a relaxing vacation, not so much having the best Internet service.. If I was going to go on vacation and disconnect myself from the online world (aka my consulting job) I would be on a beach under a palm tree for the same price!

Ok enough said on the Internet, if you need it at all, don't stay here unless you enjoy 90 minute downloads of the online Wall Street Journal instead of 5 seconds like normal.

“A comfortable time share”

We stayed here for 2 weeks. We asked for & received a renovated 2 bedroom unit. Although this complex does not compare to Westin & Marriott resorts in the area, it is still very comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious & the beds & pillows can't be beat. Large soaker tub in the main bathroom was great.Well stocked kitchen. We stayed in building #7 which overlooks the adult hot tub which was hardly used & well maintained. This is a diamond resort property so there were phone calls & lots of pressure to go on their presentation. In the end we went & received a $100 Visa card. Be prepared to spend at least 2 hours & we had 3 different agents try to convince us to buy with them. We were very disapointed that the resort doesn't offer free wi-fi. You have to pay $7 a day or $30 for the week for each computer. There are 2 complimentary desktop computers you can use ( by the check in desk) but there is a 15 min. limit & they were quite busy. There is no smoking in the units but for you smokers..you can smoke on baclonies as long as you close your patio door.

“Always excellent”

Stayed here in a one bedroom as well as studio. Both rooms beautiful, spacious and immaculate. They even have little clean cards that says .."yes, we clean here too". You find those under the bed, on the pullout couches and under sink. The toiletries and complimentary kitchen items were generous, however, if you do not want to make coffee, you can always go to the lobby for coffee, juices and sometimes cookies. EVERYONE, was ready to greet you and be of assistance, although, there are timeshare offerings, that might insist on giving you a welcome package. The resort is beautiful with tennis courts, playgound, and beautiful pool. I would continue to book there in the future

“Nice large hot tubs for colder weather”

We stayed here for a week. Overall I think a pretty nice place. We didn't have one of the newest rooms but it was still pretty nice. No large flat screens but I understand they are coming. Sat at the pool only a couple of days as the weather wasn't that nice. Nice lounge chairs. The only thing I have a hard time getting used to is that you only have room service one day in that week. We do like fresh washcloths and you have to just go and get more from them. If trash gets full st least they have extra trash bags and you can take your trash to the dumpster. I would recommend this place. Our cancun timeshare does cater 10 times more then this bout I suppose it's all in what you like
