Great Hotel, great staff and very clean property.I really enjoyed myself at this property and felt the staff was very helpful and kind.

We came here for a long weekend. The hotel was nice, clean, and the employees were very helpful. I agree with the preveious review that said it was too loud and noisey. I got woken up numerous times by loud guests or police sirens. Also, the walls seemed thin, we could here the rooms next door. Although it was nice being near the fashion mall, and we enjoyed picking up the free trolly from the fashion mall to old town, I did not enjoy being in the entertainment district and probably would not stay here again.

I booked this hotel online because I was attending the Barrett Jackson auto auction. The hotel was clean, and nicely decorated as were the lobby and grounds. I arrived back at the hotel after a day at the auction on a Friday nite and could nnot get into the parking lot because the Scottsdale Police had the street leading to the hotel blocked. I drove to the street in back of the hotel and was also met by the police. I explained to the officer that I was a hotel guest and he let me thru. I walked to my room surrounded by loud music from the bar (The Mint) across the street. The music could be heard in my room until 2am, then the police sirens were non stop till about 3;45am and the flashing lites from the police cars and the lines of people walking down the street in front of the hotel yelling and singing lasted from 2am till 4am. Not a quiet place. I asked at the front desk in the morning about all the noise and was told that the hotel is in the entertainment district and that this occurs every Friday and Saturday night and that I hadn't seen anything yet, so I should come and stay again for either Halloween or New Year's Eve.

The Best Western Plus Sundial is located in a prime location of Scottsdale on Camelback Road, and 1 block away from Scottsdale Road. It's located within walking distance to the Fashion Square Mall, and a number of restaurants, cafes, and bars. The hotel is brand new, so the rooms are clean, and nicely decorated. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast every morning, and coffee and tea 24 hours a day in the hotel lobby. We stayed during the middle of Winter, so we did not use the pool area, but it definitely looked nice! Parking is free, which is really nice! Speaking of free, WiFi was free too -- always a good thing! The bed was comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. My only compliant was that our room faced to the West (looked toward the intersection of Camelback & Scottsdale Roads), which meant you could hear the music from the club at the W Hotel. Other than that this was a great option for a stay in Scottsdale.
