“This Motel Is Meant For Desperate People”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I had to stay in this room for one night because of a mix up in transportation. When I phoned through the airport the man who picked up I could hardly hear anything he was saying on the phone. I got someone to pay for my room online because I didn't have much money on me. But when I got there the manager refused to let me have a room because I didn't have the credit card present on me, I understand where he comes from with credit card frauds and what not, but him belittling me made me upset. I ended up using what little money I had left to pay for a room. When I got into my room I could hear everything happening to the left and right side of the walls. When I checked for internet WiFi like they advertised all connections were locked. I looked around and found nothing that told what the password was.

I only got probably two or three hours of sleep and the loud bangs of people opening and closing their doors throughout the night drove me nuts. In the morning I went down for the free breakfast they advertised. No eggs or toast, just bran flake cereal and OJ.

The only thing good about this motel was probably it being clean. But if I ever get stuck in Phoenix again, I am NOT staying here.

1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

Tub didn't drain, tv had color wheel problem and picture was purple. told manager but he didn't do anything about it. Coffee was in room but there was no creamer or sugar. Told manager and he told me that he would make sure it was put it room. never was. Walls were paper thin and heard every person that walked by or close to room. Near train and heard train whistle in middle of night. Would never stay here ever again!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!

“STAY CLEAR - FALSE ADVERTISERS”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011

First off, let me state that I travel to and stay over in the Phoenix area to visit and help care for my mother quite often. My friend and I decided to try this location due to the internet photo with the pool and the brand reputation for this motel chain.
Okay, the room was filthy. There was a large hole in and other areas of the carpet raised and mushy (not wet). There were burns and holes on the ironing board. There was rust on most metal surfaces in bathroom and large holes in the wall above the light fixture. They have iron bars on the bathroom window with a view of the low income apartment/motel front doors only 30 to 40 feet away. The lamp shades were dirty and broken. The dresser was old and too small for the size of the room. Besides the filthy walls throughout, there were large cracks. Some cracks had been filled but had not even been painted over. There was no fridge, microwave, or coffee maker in our room. There was a bad, musty odor from the A/C unit and the filter was nasty (my friend developed strep throat and I also got a bad respiratory infection although it could've been from the front desk person who was very ill. She was using the lobby guest computer often and also set up the continental breakfast the next day. She coughed a lot and never once covered her mouth or sanitized her hands in our presence). There appears to be permanent dwellers onsite with very dirty covered and not covered vehicles in the lot. These vehicles appear to have not been moved in many months at least. The large areas which used to be a pool and picnic area are just dirt and weeds with some palm trees and a couple of old, unmaintained BBQs. There were piles of ashes (from the barbeques?) being dumped in the dirt filled old pool. In the morning, there was trash and beer cans strewn around the parking lot and near the rooms (it was all still there when we left at 1030am). There was dead shrubbery along the walkway outside of rooms. Our beds were clean and very comfortable. This is a great ghetto place if all you want is a bed for 60 dollars a night. You also get a strip club right across the road, porn shops nearby and a drive-thru liquor store 2 blocks away. This was probably a nice place as in the advertisement photo(s) they use, but that would've been a long time ago.

Room Tip: Choose a room in another motel far from this area.

“nice staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2011

I came into phoenix last night ( for a weekend wedding ) and had a one night stay at the days inn. I arrived at the airport and called for the shuttle. Shuttle came quickly and I was at the hotel at no time. The following morning I asked the desk clerk if it would be ok If the shhuttle can drop me off to the rental car location ( which is not by the airport ). The desk clerk mentioned that the shuttle drop off is for airport only and she will see what she can do. After five min the shuttle was ready to take me to get my rental car. Good service, clean rooms, and cheap price....would come back again...

“24 hour shuttle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

I arrived at the airport ( sky harbor ) with the intent of catching my next flight not knowing it was canceled and I would not be able to leave until the next morning ( very early in the morning 5 am ). I picked up my luggage and headed to the hotel kiosk. There were several hotels to choose from and I called several and majority of the hotels had limited hours for their shuttle service especially leaving at 3 am in the morning. Other hotels did provide shuttle to the airport at the time requested but majority of them were well over 120 dollars a night. I called the days inn airport and they mentioned they have 24 hour free shuttle to the airport so it was an easy choice for me. I arrived to the hotel which is 5 min away from the airport and got into my room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and the staff was nice as well. Cant beat the price and clean room for this hotel....will come back again.
