I travel with some regularity for work and one hotel is much like another to me. As long as it's clean and the staff are efficient, everything is great.

I don't really need a suite, but it is nice that the bedroom is situated away from the front door. I've stayed here a couple of times and found there was no hallway noise.

The room was clean. On my most recent trip the room I was given smelled like smoke (there was a smoking room two doors down). The staff was able to find me another room with no hassle.

Great bed. Lots of pillows. Spacious bathroom.

Stayed a second time for business and this is a great place for business. Large suite room with large bathroom. Two flat screens. Nice desk. Sink, fridge and microwave. Good breakfast buffet and comfortable seating areas. Large lobby with plenty of seating. Colleague had a room with a large conference table which worked out well for some meetings we had to hold. Very nice people at the front desk.

If you just need a homebase in Phoenix, this hotel will do nicely. Good size and comfortable suites. Excellent breakfast buffet. The light rail is right out front, but you should probably have a car, as there is very little around the hotel, and it's not the nicest area. Oh, and the layout of the parking garage is so strange, that it's worth mentioning here! But there was plenty of free parking for hotel guests.

Nice room, pleasant staff. We woke up one morning on the 6th floor and a homeless person was sleeping on the floor outside of our room. Told the front desk and after about 10 minutes they went up to make sure that 1. he was still alive and 2. Ask him to leave. When he did leave we were standing outside waiting for the shuttle and he was still allowed to walk around the property for awhile and then urinated on the front door. The staff was nice enough about it but did not really address our security concerns. The hotel is not really near anything to do or places to eat. The light rail is ok and their own shuttle is convenient for rides to the convention center.
