Great Service, Good Breakfast, Nice Room, Pool was Great and Great Location for our Business Meeting
Clean, quiet room, free wi-fi and breakfast plus a reasonable room rate, what else good a tried traveler desire.
I liked this hotel. I was visiting a friend who was at a hospice home and this was a very convenient location for me. The rooms I thought were well decorated and comfortable. The check in staff were so welcoming and accomodating. The price was right and I appreciated the full breakfast offered. Also the noise in between the rooms was fairly quiet which is always a big plus. Unfortunately I didn't sleep well here on one of the nights I stayed because of the rude loud guests and kids outside of the room at all hours of the night. Also the staff person that checked me out when I left was really rude. It's too bad because all in all my stay was a good one and this encounter left a sour taste.
We reserved a room online for 2 queen beds. We checked in late and they gave us a room with one queen. I went and told her that we reserved 2 beds. She showed me the online reservation and it said 1 bed. I showed her my email that said 2 beds. She did however give us a discount and a room with 2 beds :)
The rooms were nice and clean. The pool was wonderful. The staff was friendly. Great breakfast. This hotel was amazing clean!
When we got home we checked out account and not only did they charge us one fee but they charged us 2! One for $78 and one for $104. When I called they said that the $104 was a hold and because it was the weekend it would release Tuesday at midnight. Well that was not true cause it cleared out bank. They did however credit that back to our account which took 2 days. Causing us to go neg in our bank. But our bank reversed the NSF funds So just double check that if you reserve online.
This hotel is right by I-17 on Northern Ave. It's a three story property with lots of nicely appointed rooms with all the usual features. The staff is friendly and efficient and the rates are good.
The breakfast room is large, but the serving area is very cramped--being arranged in a U-shape which always creates problems. Someone waiting for toast can block access to several other items. In addition, they have a TV blaring in the breakfast room which you can't get away from. They do have a good selection of breakfast items, however.
The hotel also has a guest laundry, which you have to access with a room key obtained at the front desk, making it very secure.
