“Do Not Stay Here - Gross Rooms and Sketchy people”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 March 2010

Location: Right next to the highway which is great but there are lots of sketchy people hanging out around this place. Ladies of the night, bums, drunks and druggies all eyeballing you and harassing other people.

The Room: Dirty, stained carpets, stained sheets, pee on the toilet, grease on and around the doorknob and door, looked like bloodstains on the back of the door. There was an overwhelming feeling of filth in the room.

Service: Lady at the front desk barely spoke english and didn't understand procedures policies of the hotel. When I asked for a new room they said there was no other rooms, when I asked for a refund because I would not stay in the room, she didn't know what to do. When the service i used to book the hotel tried to contact them, the representative was hung up on three different times. Could never get a manager on the phone to resolve the issue.

“would have left if I hadn't arrived so late”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2009

After driving from the Four Corners Monument, starting at about 6pm, I arrived at the Traveler's Inn in Phoenix at about 11:30pm. On walking into my 'non-smoking' room, I was nearly blown back by the stink of smoke. The TV remote had no batteries, and on switching it on manually I discovered that the last channel that had been watched was scrambled porn. I felt like sleeping standing up, with as little contact between myself and any part of the room. Not a good experience...

“Don't go here!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2008

My friend and I stayed at this hotel from Thanksgiving until early December with my two young children. First problem was when the maintenance man called our room at 11 pm to ask me for a date! CREEPY!!! Then on Thursday we noticed some things in our room were turned off that we specifically left on for safety reasons while we were gone. The light bulb was actually unscrewed in one of the lamps. Then when the front desk was told and given our personal phone number they didn't even bother to give it to the manager. So far nothing has been done. The continental breakfast was Tang, bananas, and little rolls. The ceiling light was dangling and a small piece of the carpet missing. We also had to have the maintenance man in twice for plumbing issues.

“NOT a good choice!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2008

This particular motel, is less than desirable for most folks, in my humble opinion. Though the property looks ok, and does have a nice pool area, there are other problems. The most important, is location. There are a LOT of bums and "ladies of the night" lately, and though the establishment provides a security guard, why would you stay at a place that requires one? More times than none, when you go from your room to your car, or to a nearby fast food place, you will be approached by questionable people, such as a street bum or local con-artist. The fact of the matter is, there are a lot of truckers in the area, and people needing money seem to gravitate to the area as well. The rooms do NOT have the usual amenities, such as shampoo, coffee maker, microwave, or clock radio, but they do have a 19" TV. The rooms also have minor broken or aged fixtures, walls, and fittings. I know for a fact there are much better motel/hotel choices in Phoenix, and STRONGLY recommend them! do your research of the area and motel choices before staying here, I am very serious!

My husband and I were on a long drive from Dallas to California and stay at this Travelers Inn they treated us very well and went out of their way to may our stay pleasant. I was very pleased to find out that I did not have to worry about anything happening to our vehicle because they have 24hr. security. I would really recommend for anyone to stay at this hotel.
