You guys, dont listen to these other stupid reviews i am a customer you can trust this hotel was amazing. Nice staff members no problems what so ever. Pool really clean, rooms clean, everything clean! i love the shuttle system i got to see around phx anytime. i recommend this hotel to anyone!

This is my 3rd time at this motel in three trips (it's the only stop that's been the same on all three trips). Other drivers I know have stayed at the EZ-8 for $29 in town, but too much rolled barbwire for me.
Corp pricing keeps the price under $50, separate truck parking. The other two times I was here the truck lot was full, tonight it'll be about 1/4 full.
As empty as it is, they say the only room they have is on the 3rd floor, no elevator on-site, not an issue for me but could be for some. Room would somewhere between a Super 8 and a Motel 6. Clean, but aging. Free WiFi. Today it was still 75 degrees at 8 PM in mid December and someone was using the outdoor pool, but not I.
There is a shuttle and driver but I've never asked where/how far they will take people. (I just looked at their website and it says five miles, so that does NOT include the airport which is 12 miles).

IHOP, Carl Jrs, one other in same parking lot. Truck-stop/convenience store across the street. End rooms overlook freeway, but I didn't notice the noise that night. The other two nights I've overlooked the pool.

Location: Right next to the highway which is great but there are lots of sketchy people hanging out around this place. Ladies of the night, bums, drunks and druggies all eyeballing you and harassing other people.

The Room: Dirty, stained carpets, stained sheets, pee on the toilet, grease on and around the doorknob and door, looked like bloodstains on the back of the door. There was an overwhelming feeling of filth in the room.

Service: Lady at the front desk barely spoke english and didn't understand procedures policies of the hotel. When I asked for a new room they said there was no other rooms, when I asked for a refund because I would not stay in the room, she didn't know what to do. When the service i used to book the hotel tried to contact them, the representative was hung up on three different times. Could never get a manager on the phone to resolve the issue.

After driving from the Four Corners Monument, starting at about 6pm, I arrived at the Traveler's Inn in Phoenix at about 11:30pm. On walking into my 'non-smoking' room, I was nearly blown back by the stink of smoke. The TV remote had no batteries, and on switching it on manually I discovered that the last channel that had been watched was scrambled porn. I felt like sleeping standing up, with as little contact between myself and any part of the room. Not a good experience...
