“Good Value with Great Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

As most of the other reviewers, I was looking for a reasonablely priced room for one night prior to an early flight out and this worked out very well. Keith, the gentleman who booked my reservation and handled my check-in, was very friendly and helpful. The free shuttle service was exactly what I needed and the breakfast offerings sufficed. I'll stay again my next time through town.

“Just for an overnight stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

A cheap option when needing to be close to the aiport and that's it. The neighbourhood and surrounding area is not what I would like to see again...

“Good value,”

2 couples stayed 3 separate times for a total of 5 nights in 2 weeks while touring Arizona. First stay was on arrival by air; second was on the way from Winslow to Tucson; third was just prior to flying out. All three times we were impressed with the staff. The rooms we stayed in were freshly painted and very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the wireless connection was speedy. The laundry facility was clean and well cared for, with good Maytag machines. Location is excellent; just minutes to Sky Harbor, with a 24 hour airport shuttle. It is close to a McD's for quick meals, and within walking distance of a Circle K for snacks and supplies, and the Knock-Kneed Lobster fish and chip shop around the corner has been a Phoenix fixture for 35 yrs. Neighborhood is a bit run down, but in 5 days over 2 weeks time we never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. Continental breakfast is typical, and now opens at 3:45 am to accomodate the 4 am shuttle to the airport. During our visit we watched them replace every bed in the motel with good solid Serta mattresses.

“Nice place to spend a night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2011

Spent the night at Econolodge, Phoenix enroute to Grand Canyon. The hotel is located couple of miles from Sky Harbor International Airport. Has a round the clock airport shuttle pickup arrangement. Our room was neat with a single queen bed. The bathroom was small but clean. Parking was available. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast from 4 AM but dont expect too much, may be coffee, banana and bagels. There are better eating options around with a Dennys and Mcd in walking distance. Value for money - thumbs up.

“Normal place to stay next to the airport”

As we had a very early flight, we tried to find the place near to the airport. Econo Lodge is that place. Free WIFI, free breakfast starting at 4.00 am and a very reasonable price. Clean and big rooms, parking next to the door. So, nothing wrong about this hotel.
