I've stayed at this hotel before but this was the first time in a couple of years. It is NOT again well.
Both the rooms and the common areas need some freshening up and TLC. Nothing big was wrong, but lots of little things. Drippy shower that wouldn't stop, badly bruised fruit, stale baked goods and cold, pre-formed eggs at breakfast, soft mattress, noisy elevators that we could hear in our room well down the hall, carpet and drapes starting to wear.

Also, even though this is a "suites" hotel, it's really not functional as one. The sink in essentially in the room, so that it's impossible to get ready in the morning but let another person sleep. It's made worse by a large mirror that reflects light right back at the bed.

It wasn't a disaster, but I'm sure we can do better in Downtown Phoenix and won't be back.

We spent just one night at this hotel and it was enough to notice how well managed it is.
The cleanliness in all areas, rooms, linen, towells is remarkable.
Breakfast was well stuffed and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
The location is within walking distance from downtown Phoenix.
The parking place is ample and free.
Beds were very comfortable.
Go for it!

We arrived on a Thursday and easily checked in before noon. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Transportation to and from Sky Harbor was timely and our driver was friendly. Great location - very easy walk to the conference center each morning. Great breakfast - loved the oatmeal with brown sugar, raisins and walnuts - great way to start the morning.

Our visit to SpringHill Suites was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were spacious and the staff was very helpful. Our room had two tvs and a sitting area which gave the three of us plenty of room to navigate. We had tickets to the Diamondbacks game that night and we were able to walk to the field and avoid any parking fees at the ball game. We would stay there again. .
