“Clean and comfortable in a nice location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

We stayed one night at this hotel on our way to Sedona. It is a clean place conveniently located just off I-17 and, compared to nearby hotels, very reasonable. We paid $130 (including tax) for a two-room suite and the price included a nice breakfast. The gentlemen who checked us in was very pleasant and offered a variety of suggestions as to where we could get something to eat nearby. The lobby and dining area were attractive and the only complaint is that our room had an "off" smell. Not sure why, but it was otherwise clean. We ended up with a room on the noisy freeway side in spite of the fact that I'd requested one on the other side, but the curtains darkened the room sufficiently and the bed was so comfy that it wasn't too much of an issue.

Room Tip: Insist on a room NOT on the freeway side if you are a light sleeper. Even at night, the traffic was...

“Immaculately cleaned. Comfortable bed.”

If you can get a room for under $106 (before tax), you will enjoy this hotel. My room was well-cleaned, including the assortment of teas and cups provided. The TV provided a good selection of educational cable channels. The bed was comfortable.

I wish that my room had been better lit; it was a bit too dark for me. At one time, the heater was making loud strange noises, but shortly after, on a news program on TV, I learned that it is normal for heaters to occasionally make strange loud sounds.

Breakfast is a buffet with some warm options. Get there as early as you can, to avoid the crowd. The exercise room was cramped, but I found the remote control to the TV, so I did a little exercise. There is an Asian buffet nearby.

“Good stay for business travel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2011

I was there for three nights due to business. The one-queen bed room was clean with microwave and refrigerator. Nice free breakfast with typical hot and cold items. My room was on the freeway side and there was occasional noise at night due to traffic. Ask for the rooms on the opposite side if available.

“Very Good Price”

Stayed here for business, and the room was only $67 a night. Made the boss happy. Plus, accomodations were decent. Across the freeway there is a Target, and several good chain restaurants, like Chili's. Convenient location in Phoenix, right on the i-17.

“Solid Stay for My Trip. Very Happy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 April 2011

I really enjoyed my stay. Lots of positives for staying here and I would easily stay here again.

Pros:
Easy access to 2 major Hwys (17 and the 101 loop)
Good Included Breakfast
Large Rooms
Large Soft Bed
Free Internet Included
Lots of Restaurant and Food Choices near
Nice Staff
Fridge and Microwave in Room
LCD TV in Room

Cons:
Slow Internet

The stay was really nice. It is near a highway, so I can't speak for noise on that side of the building as I stayed on the rear side and it was quiet. I forgot my toothpaste and was given a small set for free which was super nice. The breakfast spread was pretty good and almost anyone could find something that could work for them. The only thing that was annoying was the internet speed. It was crawling which made doing anything serious from the room impossible. Nonetheless, I still would easily stay here again and recommend it to others. Hopefully they will get the internet speed up a little bit.
