Stayed here in early October while returning home from vacation. This is a slightly older Holiday Inn Express, and it is showing some wear around the edges. Our room, was on the first floor on the interstate 10 side of the hotel. I was a little worried about road noise, but it was not a problem. While there was some noise from the highway, once the blackout curtains were closed it was barely noticeable. The room was clean, if a bit worn. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The complimentary breakfast was standard for HIE hotels, and was almost identical to other hotels in the chain. The coffee was better than normal and I was willing to forgo my usual $bucks run.

I've stayed at this location pretty regularly for 5 years. It's clean, comfortable, and a good value for the money, especially during the summer. The staff is professional and effiecient, easy access to I10, and within walking distance to a Cracker Barrel.
One really ncie thing is if you have a reservaiton, the a/c is turned on before you get there. this a great touch when the temps are in triple digits.
Internet is easy to hook up to but during busy times can be slow. Breakfast is normal HIE hot fare and a great value.
My last stay here the hot water was not very hot, not bad enough to complain about but noticeable.
if your on the road looking for a clean comfortable hotel with good value this is a winner.

We stayed here Friday night of Labor Day weekend. At check-in, I asked to be located away from the very busy highway and was assured that I would be. I didn't even check when I got to the room as I trusted the friendly, but not very competent desk clerk. When the air in the room shut off, surprise - road noise and lots of it!!

The room was pretty good and it was nice to have a refrigerator in the room. It was clean and new and the beds were supportive and newer. BUT, the internet overloaded in the evening and I experienced multiple timed out connections before just giving up.

We also had noise issues that were partly due to the inexpensive construction of the hotel and partly due to the fact that many people just use no manners or restraint no matter the hour.

We won't stay again based on the internet problem, but the room quality and cleanliness were good if you have no internet needs.

Fairly new construction; rooms clean; better than average "continental" breakfast for a budget hotel. Great location near airport & major freeways. Their in room movie vendor was being changed, but some of the staff didn't know, so first day I asked they told me erroneously that it must be my remote, and that they would call me back, but never did. Had to inquire again NE t day, and got the "real" answer.
