“Beautiful resort grounds with comfortable rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

A comfortable stay in a King room facing the pool, we enjoyed the quiet environment in this resort-like setting. The bathroom was nicely designed with granite countertops, marble floors -- very clean throughout. Food service was good, and prompt. We were there Christmastime, and Christmas eve they served tasty hot cocoa and Christmas cookies in the lobby, which was a wonderful.

We did have to open the window to cool off the room, as the thermostat did not seem to go cooler than 70 degrees. Also, the television would revert back to the "welcome" channel every 15 minutes. I asked the front desk for someone to repair this, but no one ever came during our 4 night stay. So engineering service was poor, if at all present. Or they never got the message from the front desk.

The concierge admitted that there was nothing to see in Phoenix, and I would have to agree. But my relatives live here, so oh well. Overall, a nice stay, and I'd come back.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool are quiet.

“Taste of History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Recently spent 8 lovely days at the Biltmore. A little bit of business, and a lot of pleasure. The staff was very professional and usually invisible.
The room ( complimentary upgrade to a suite ) was perfect for an almost century old hotel. I think it could have used more furnishing, but perhaps it doubled as a hospitality suite. And the view, as you can see, was wonderful.
We spent 2 days at the spa, and while expensive, was very fulfilling. We did golf at the old course and while very enjoyable, it lacked the distinction of some of the newer courses.
The dining was well above average, as were the prices. But for convenience and quality it can't be beat. Family came in to enjoy the pool and the location is very central to all of Phx.
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and to top it off we went and visited Taliesin West and learned even more about FLW.

“Spectacular grounds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012 via mobile

Poolside service - superb.
Frank &Alberts restaurant - delicious.
Rooms - well appointed. Comfy beds, good bath products.
Loved the spa and the ladies locker room - well stocked
I just wish they had a shuttle service or better negotiated rates to the main shopping area nearby.

“great hotel, RUDE BELL CAPTAIN”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012 via mobile

I was on visit recently to the Arizona Biltmore for buisness..overall great hotel, great location, and great service! Only one negative thing was dealing with one of the bell captains(Chris). I came down to the bellstand for some help and was dealing with Chris. The way he talk to me was very discourteous and demenor was very unfriendly. I Just don't understand how a Waldorf-Astoria property has a employee that acts like this, very unacceptable.
