“Amazing”

Through the gracious generosity of a benefactor, my wife and another couple were afforded the opportunity to stay for three nights in the "executive suite" at this property in March of 2011. We found it totally amazing and wonderful in every way. The outdoor patio restaurant as well the the smaller one inside were both fine.

We were at the restaurant adjacent to the patio last week for lunch and found the service a little "pokey" but the food was nice.

All in all, I would recommend the Camelback, although we miss the wonderful buffet supper they used to offer a decade ago.

If the choices are The Phoenician, The Biltmore and The Camelback, I'd still have to rate Biltmore #1.

“very pretty and quiet property”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

I stayed here for a work conference so I spent a considerable amount of time onsite and overall this is a beautiful resort. My main issue was the distance of my room from the front lobby and restaurants as I found it a bit inappropriate that they would place a woman staying alone in the farthest distance rooms..I did not appreciate walking back up to my room at night given the distance. The room was large and well equipped with a nice small patio, albeit quite dark. Overall a nice stay with very accommodating and friendly staff and a beautiful spa with fairly decent restaurants. Also had very good experience with multiple room service food orders, much better than most hotels for the food.

Room Tip: Ask for a room closer to the main center

The hotel is nice looking, the staff very sweet. The room had a beeping noise coming from the heater that kept me up from 3-4 am until I identified where it was coming from. They were nice about it and gave us $150.00 off though. Spa food was excellent and the whole spa was nice. The BLT restaurant was did nto blow us away and for the price should have. The popovers were fantastic.

I stayed here for my 50th birthday and it was amazing. The grounds are beautiful and the service was wonderful. Definitely worth the price. November was a perfect time to go.

“Great place to relax or conduct business”

This is one fine place to stay. The food if excellent, the employees are top notch, and the rooms are delightful.
My company decided to conduct our annual sales meeting here. What a "great" find. My wife and I have decided this resort "WILL" be on our visit list for vacation this fall.

Room Tip: The 500 series rooms offer a great view of the mountains
