“Superb - it was very hard to leave.”

From the first moment we arrived Melissa and Tony made us very welcome. Their friendliness helpfulness and attention to detail was top notch. They are superb thoughtful attentive and creative managers The beachside fale was comfortable spacious and practical. The staff were so lovely- we felt as if we were in a big warm welcoming family. The location is great, the water warm and snorkelling great- just right there in the lagoon. Even in the 'off' - rainy- season we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Plantation Walk was a real treat. The new menu every night a real delight, and the delicious fruit smoothies at breakfast are being missed back here in NZ. We highly recommend this great resort! Dorothy and Fred.

Having kiwi management in the resort in no way detracted from the cultural experience, and in fact acted to interpret and create greater understanding of the beauty and nuances of the local experience. We are definitely saving for out next trip to Savai'i Resort.

“Wonderful place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 December 2011

This is a great place to stay, very clean, spacious rooms and a wonderful secluded beach as there are only two properties on this beach.
The water can be drunk straight from the tap which is fantastic and saves on having to buy bottled water.
The bathroom has an outdoor shower with wire netting on top so you don't have the mozzies coming in.
This place is pricey though by Samoan standards, but we wanted to stay in a place other than beach fales which are much cheaper but with much less privacy.
You can hire snorkel equipment from the dive shop across the road, the water was very clear, the beach kept clean by the friendly staff. The snorkeling was ok, not a lot to see. You can also take the kayaks out for a paddle.
Complimentary breakfast was very filling and the coffee was great!

“Paradise and Eco Friendly”

My teenage daughter and I have just returned from two weeks at the Savaii Lagoon Resort. We both agree it was the best holiday we have had. The location is the best on the island - sand, snorkelling was fabulous and great food at the resort. The food is very reasonably priced and always made for local fresh ingredients. Yum
The close connection between the hotel managers and the local village is wonderful and this is reflected in the great relationship between staff and guests. The staff are so helpful, kind and friendly. Special thanks to them all and esp Janice and June for being so great to us and making us feel welcome and at home.
Melissa and Tony, the Managers run a lovely resort that sits in the environment and culture very well while being a very comfotable and beatuiful place to unwind and relax.
The local pigs, cats, fish and wildlife are a constant source of harmless entertainment.

Awesome place, from the magical sunsets to the helpful & friendly staff. They made us feel "special"
Accomodation is clean, comfy and I loved to semi outdoors bathroom ( don't worry it's fully enclosed, nobody could see in).
We made good use of the free Kayaks, there's a car rental next door, oh yes a great pizza restaurant .... resort restaurant is good too.
We have already recommend to friends and will go back again.

Room Tip: We had a Beach bungalow it was quiet & we looked out on the beach.
