My wife and I stayed at Casa Victoriana for 4 days, having made the booking directly via email.. Pablo is very freindly and helpful. He speaks adequate English and he did all he could to assist us in making arrangements for sightseeing, etc. His reliable (but slow) WiFi conneciton was readily available to us. The large room "Suite del Canal" was very comfortable with good, if somewhat screened, views of the Beagle Channel. Breakfasts were very good.

Main downside was location - Barrio Residencial ¨ El Mirador -about 10 minutes by taxi east of Ushuaia itself with no local options for food, etc. Taxis are cheap but sometimes difficult to find in Ushuaia itself.

Overall, excellent value for money.

I would like to recommend this lovely, cosy and charming place in Ushuaia, especially the suite with Jacuzzi. The owners are very nice and helpful. They make you feel at home. The breakfast is very tasty and rich. Everything is decorated with a lot of taste.
It is a very quiet place situated 10mn (taxi ride) from the centre.

This is the best B&B my wife and I have ever stayed in! We had the suite, which has a large separate bathroom and Jacuzzi bath. Furnishings and fittings of the bedroom and rest of the house are of the highest standards and there are nice views across the Beagle Channel. Pablo was very helpful in every respect and having Internet and Skype access was very handy.
Breakfast was excellent as was moderately priced laundry service.
Possible negatives:
A bit more expensive than usual for us at Arg$245 (£41) a night for the suite with breakfast but Ushuaia is expensive compared to rest of Argentina Some of the website pictures may give the impression that the house stands on its own but it is in a new development on a hillside. Its several miles outside the town so you need a car or have to use taxis. This was a bonus for us as it was very quiet. Ushuaia is quite a big, touristy town with traffic jams in the evening - plenty of places to eat.
