This was a very nice hotel at the edge of the main area of town. Still walking distance to everything. Rooms quite small, but good.

This hotel was very nice and clean. The free wi-fi was very nice. The downside it that the walls are fairly thin, especially in the bathrooms. I could hear the people next to us talking about their day. The rooms are fairly small too. Other people have complained about the location and although it is about a block and a half up the hill from the main street it was a nice, quiet location with an amazing view. The staff was all very nice and the free breakfast was good. It is the only place I stayed at while in Ushuaia so I don't have any other hotels to compare it to, but I would recommend it.

Another side note that isn't a huge deal. My travel partner and I were there in November and since we are from Nebraska the weather was fairly warm for us, we are used to much colder weather. The down side about the hotel is that it doesn't have ac. But I would assume that most people would be comfortable without it. We were fine too, the windows opened, but it would have just been nice to have.

Put simply, this hotel actually looks like the official hotel photos. It's clearly been totally renovated in the last few months. The rooms are clean and modern. (One reviewer calls it "Euro chic" - I'd agree with that.) There's a lovely view of the Beagle Channel from the bar/restaurant (pretty great backdrop for breakfast), reception area and the rooms on the downhill side of the hotel. And the service is friendly and professional (they arranged transfers to the airport and the the nearby Cerro Castor ski resort without any trouble). I also thought it was good value for what it was.

Location is the only thing that might cause some to hesitate. It's about 10-15 mins walk from the main shops, restaurants and waterside area. There are more central accommodation options. But I think the quality and view easily make up for that. And I am sure they would arrange you a taxi if you don't fancy the walk.

This is a nice hotel with a lovely view of the Beagle Channel and the harbor if your room is on the correct side of the hotel. My room faced the street in front of the hotel. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is very helpful and speak English. There is a nice breakfast room with views of the channel and breakfast was included. The hotel also has free internet. The hotel is located up hill and a little ways from the main street and harbor. It is walkable down wooden stairs and several blocks downhill to the main street. It was raining when I was there so I took a cab to the restaurant for dinner and back. Cab fares are very reasonable. This hotel has been completely renovated and had only been open 2 months when I was there. I had dinner at La Cantina Fueguina and had the Sea Bass and it was out of this world, I highly recommend this restaurant.
