Every morning we sat in the courtyard and enjoyed the beauty of the garden, basked in the sun and absorbed the tranquility of location. We found the hosteria to exceed our expectations. On the plus side the location is perfect being one block from the center of town; individuals at the front dest spoke English and were very helpful in booking trips, etc.; room was spotlessly clean; plenty of hot water; sufficient radiator heat; great vegetarian restaurant, good breakfast; decor in restaurant was excellent; room was sufficient size; and the lack of a TV in the room allowed us to communicate and read rather than watch the tube. Also our aerolineas Argentina flight from Ushuaia El Calafate was cancelled so we lost a night in el Calafate. We called the Kau Kaleshen and they cancelled that night at no cost to us. A great plus for them. The only negative was the lack of a refrigerator and hot pot with coffee/tea in the room.
