Hosteria Lupama is horrible. My partner and I booked two nights and left in the middle of the first night to go to the Kempinski to recover from the ordeal (at an extra expense $400). We heard dogs all night the windows are paper thin. The accomodation is in the middle of nowhere, bedding is dirty, the safe didn't work, it is like a log cabin / youth hostile gone bad. Dirty 0 star Motel 6! The worst place we stayed in Argentina! Any questions? :)
Moreno Glacier and the Kempinski made up for the missery but the memory of this nightmare remains.
Whenever we think of Argentina this accomodation conjures a lot of ill feelings and made us highly sceptable about the ratings of any accomodation in Argentina. At the end of the day you wonder what system are they adhering to.
