The hotel is modern in design and has a heated pool and gym. The dining area has amazing views over Lago Nahuel Huapi and the reception area had interesting artwork and a comfortable sitting area.
We love the suites at this hotel. They are spacious and modern with king beds and a spabath in the room with huge windows; ours was a top floor and looked out over the lake.
It is a few kilometres out of town but taxis are inexpensive and readily available. On our previous visit a few years ago we used to enjoy the walk into town but with the problem of ash from the Chilean volcano causing dust on windy days we used taxis this time.
We had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was delicious but limited in choice. The small menu did not change in our 4 night stay.
The breakfasts are OK but the staff in general are rather unfriendly and, at breakfast, could not be bothered to replenish empty dishes on the buffet. The coffee was frequently cold and stale.The staff, in general, are the only negative for us. If it were not for the staff we would rate it 5star. Still we recommend it.

The hotel is very nice in spring time, and a good fit for people who want to enjoy comfort away from downtown. Nice flowers and trendy design. Service and food is excellent and the room I stayed was very nice, with a jacuzzi down the window, facing the lake. On the other hand, hotel is quite far from the city and the buses are close but not so frequent. Hence, if you do not have a car think again. However, there is a shuttle service tha takes you downtown on a regular basis. If you want to explore the area you need to get the bus as there are no ways of renting a bike, motorcycle or car in the surroundings

Service and setting excellent. 20 minute walk to town only negative (ESP during volcano activity causing fine ash along the road). Rooms beautiful, large and very clean.

This hotel was lovely. Bariloche is a ski town so the hotel has that ski resort feel to it. I stayed there in late September and so the weather was still a bit cool. The heated hardwood floors were just wonderful. The bathroom had a nice jet tub which was also a nice treat. The bed was big and very comfortable and I had a great nice sleep. The room was big and spacious and clean.

Breakfast was ok, nothing too spectacular in comparison to some of the other places I stayed at throughout South America. I don't drink coffee but one morning my friends I was travelling with said something about the coffee being cold.

The hotel is great in itself but is about a 25 minute walk into Bariloche. It isn't too bad, but when coming back at night and you are walking, just remember you have a bit of a small hill you may have to climb as there are 4 buildings beyond the main building. Not a big deal, but something you should be aware of. Or just get in a taxi.
