From the moment we checked in, we knew this place was going to be exceptional. It is very light inside with cute decorations, and an overall excellent feel. Our reception was wonderful. Not only did the dog in the front yard wag his tail when we walked by, but the staff also seemed happy to have us there, and the level of service proved it.

Agustin and others took us into their home and helped us book horse trips, canopy tours, and gave excellent suggestions for dinner spots (El Regional!!!!). Breakfast was great as well.

Many afternoons were spent drinking wine in the beautiful courtyard with a pool (I was not brave enough being from Texas to swim in a pool in San Martin in November).

I was sad to leave this place, as I felt like I was a guest in their home.

Lovely place to stay. Very homely. Host is very friendly, helpful and has a good sense of humour. Very nice garden setting.

This is a gorgeous small boutique hotel. The rooms are large an exquisite; the breakfast is delicious; and the hosts are friendly and attentive. The house is well located, within walking distance to the town, the bus station, and the lake. We just loved it. Agustin Roca, the owner, is a perfect host

Agustin and his wife welcomed us with open arms, including our two children (ages 7 and 10). Our room was spacious, the breakfast was wonderful, service was perfect (Adriana is sweet and helpful), and the hosteria was warm and inviting. We loved having the option to order dinner there, especially after long days of skiiing when the kids did not feel like walking around town to find a restaurant. They were much happier eating at "home", then having hot chocolate by the fire in the comfortable living room. The location couldn't be better since it is two blocks from the bus station (we took a bus to Bariloche), close walk to main part of town, and was the ideal place for transport to Chapelco for skiing (last one picked up and first dropped off). Having high-speed internet service was a bonus, and there was also a TV w/ DVD, VCR and a selection of movies, though we were much too tired after long days of skiing to take advantage of this. It's a great place for couples and families alike, and we enjoyed getting to know the others who were staying there during breakfast and in the evenings. I could not imagine staying anywhere else!
