We stayed four nights in the Casa Real and enjoyed the hotel facilities, service and location. The rooms were ok for us , i.e. modern, comfortable and without luxury. Enjoyed also the “continental” breakfast” and the simple and good lunch at the hotel restaurant.
The hotel is located quite close to the Balcarce street with plenty of nice pubs and restaurants for our nice diners in Salta

I stayed at this hotel on a trip from Brazil to the Atacama Desert. This is a bussiness type Hotel but is well located also for leisure travelers, a few blocks from the historical city center.

Rooms are big (for latin-american standards) and have a nice view to the mountains that surround Salta.

Spent three nights over a five night period. They must be used to this as they provided a luggage storage free of charge. Each day we came back and had a different room. I felt like all three rooms needed a good spring clean, they didn't appear fresh. The voucher for the accommodation stated "Hot Buffet breakfast included". There was nothing hot on the menu except eggs cooked to order. We asked for two eggs each and were charged 12 pesos. The breakfast was average. When we checked in for our second nights stay I asked the receptionist if she had any king size beds available. The hotel was very busy, had a conference in, and she said she didn't have any available but she would organise for our last night. When we checked in for our last night, I asked was it a Kingsize bed, and the male receptionist said no, it was a real effort for him to change it.
The location was great. We walked out of the hotel and turned left and went a couple of blocks and found all of the local restaurants and markets on the weekend.
Free internet useful. Airconditioning didn't get cool in all three rooms!!

It's rare to find modern conveniences in South American hotels, but this hotel has them! Professional staff, quality restaurant and cafe, fitness center and indoor pool worth using. Good location in town. A+ all around!
