This like all La Quintas is a dependable place to stay on road trips. For those of you who travel with pets you will like that La Quinta does not put dog owners in a smoking room, actually the entire establishment is smoke free.
The toilets do flush a bit loud and you can hear adjoining rooms flush.

Great room. Spacious with a pillow top king bed and a recliner so you don't have to sit on the bed. The breakfast was the same every morning, cereal and hard boiled eggs. They have a couple of waffle machines too. It was plenty adaquate. One of the fitness bikes had a missing pedal and they were never any towels on the shelves. It may have been the fact that I work out at 4:30 am. It was ok otherwise. Overall it was quiet, comfortable, and clean.

When we arrived the staff greeted us right at the door friendly man I think they said his name was Gonzo great name. anyway everything was great. there was one gentleman that worked on the night shift I cant remember his name but I don't think I have ever stayed at a hotel that had someone so friendly and courteous. we came down in the middle of the night to get an extra blanket and he went right back and got us one right away. a short while later we called down for some extra towels and he was there practicly before we even hung up the phone. when we came down for break fast at about 530 it was already set up and that was a good thing because we had to leave early. I went up to him and talked to him at the front desk for a while and he never once rushed me away he sat there and listened to me. you see we just lost our daughter and he seemed to know more about what I was feeling than I did. but any way this guy if he is not in management he should be he was probably one of the most professional guys I have ever met you guys need more people like him and your hotel will be perfect.

We needed an overnight stay before flying out of Mesa Gateway Airport. We chose La Quinta because they have a free shuttle to the airport and you can leave your car in their parking lot for free while you are gone. We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the service. The front desk and shuttle service was probably the friendliest service I've had at any mid-price hotel. The rooms were very nice. We left too early to try the breakfast. We will definitely use this hotel again.
