“Just okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 May 2012

We stayed at this hotel for one night- April 27, 2012. It was convenient to a volleyball tournament we were attending at Mesa High School. Although there was a large group of Special Olympic athletes also staying at the hotel we never heard them. The room was a good size with a king bed and small couch. And although upon casual lounging the bed seemed comfortable it was excruciating to sleep on. The pillows also were somewhat lumpy feather ones. We both woke up with horrific backaches. I would give the hotel a minus 1 if it was just on its bed. It didn't appear to be saggy or lumpy but it was definitely very hard and uncomfortable. The freeway noise wasn't noticable and breakfast was adequate for this type of hotel.

“Average hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 May 2012

The hotel was average for Hamptons. The room was decent, but stay on the freeway side of the hotel. The north side has an outdoor lounge for the nearby by bar. This creates quite a bit of noise, so the gentle hum of the freeway might make it easier to sleep.

The plus side is just across the highway there are multiple places to eat.

Room Tip: Stay in the south side away from the parking lot.

“Nice hotel, great location !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 April 2012

I love Hampton Inn's. First of all you know what you're going to get -- No surprises! This Hampton Inn was nice and the staff was very friendly. There is a great restaurant next door that serves fantastic food !!

Room Tip: Completely non-smoking hotel if you are a smoker.

“Never Again!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 March 2012

This place was a dump! It smelled of sewer the first night. We were told we would have a fridge and microwave, but they told me these had to be requested (true for the micro but not the fridge). Not in the best area, female staff were rude and even laughed at another guest after she turned her back with a complaint. The room was stale, air didnt work. Shower didnt drain, so you got a bath/shower in one! Housekeeping didnt leave toilet paper and actually had to steal some from downstairs bathroom lobby for our room. Housekeeping only straightened bad, didnt empty trash, vacuum, wipe down bathroom, NOTHING.No decent food within walking distance, not that you'd want to walk in that area. The only reason I could give this 1 star is because of the barber, Clippers, in the area, best haircuts ever!
