I´m not sure why anyone would want to overnight in Resistencia - the poorest (56% below wage poverty level - Wikipedia) and arguably the ugliest city in Argentina - but if you do this hotel will make you forget you´re in such a dump. My advice is not to leave the hotel. My girlfriends son is a student here and he says to be careful walking around at night.
The rooms are very comfortable with nice kingsize bed - and a nice touch is the raised floor feature by the window where a desk and a lounge chair is located. The TV was large - not flat-screen - and had CNN in English which is hard to find outside 5 stars. Also DW TV (German) which has very interesting English-language programmes alternate hours (not evening though).
Many are the 4-star hotels in Argentina which dont deserve that rating but this one does. Whats more the rack rate is only 320 pesos (incl tax) - about USD 80.
The restaurant - although food is nothing special - is comfy and attractive - and almost certainly the best place to eat in town. There are depressingly few other options.
Unless machines are your thing the casino leaves much to be desired. The table games seem to have been moved to a narrow poorly-lit ante-room.
One negative comment - the 2 public computers are old and slow.
