I would really like to give them 3.5 balls. The location is great and the common areas are nice. The room itself was tired and lacking. The breakfast buffet was just ok. Wireless service was ok, but had to call the desk several times to have the router reset. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'd like to say I would go back, but I think I'll try something else next time.

Location, location, location. Sitting right on the main plaza, the Argentino Hotel can't be faulted on this score. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful, and there is free wifi in the lobby and pool areas, though we couldn't connect in our room. It is let down by the rooms themselves, which are small with basic facilities - hanging space rather than wardrobes, and the only hotel/hosteria we used in Argentina without a hairdryer. We had a room on the ground floor, which I would not recommend, Our window opened onto the pool area so we had to keep the curtain closed all the time. Despite this, the location and staff make it a great place to stay.

The Argentino Hotel has a great location, right across from the park and practically next door to the Park Hyatt. The lobby and pool area are great, and we could sit outside in the evening and watch the park activity or sit by the pool for a more quiet time. The rooms, however, need an upgrade. They were functional, and if you plan on spending very little time in the room, who really cares? Small bathrooms as well.
