hotel is ok. good pool. the rooms are old and in need of reform.

We liked this hotel. The rooms were clean and a decent size. The bed were very firm. The bathrooms had no fan, like many places we stayed on our trip, but it was only a minor inconvenience. Excellent location for walking to local businesses and plazas. Breakfast buffet was excellent with the option to order eggs from the kitchen. The desk and concierge people went out of their way to make us comfortable, going so far as to research, locate and make an appointment for us to meet the 88-yr old local artist whose work graced the public areas! The restaurant was a hidden gem with outdoor seating as an option. Service and the food was excellent. We liked the pool and used it daily as it was in the mid-90's during our stay. We would gladly stay again.

Hotel staff was very nice and helpfull. Very good location, centric and close to most points of interest. Clean room and bathroom, a bit dated though. Elevators need some maintenance, specialy the buttons. Good breakfast with nice "medias lunas". Good pool nice to relax in, if not too crowded (pool needs better bar service). Room is a bit small but comfy.

I booked this on the hotel website and got a good deal on a family room (adjoining rooms with a door between). The location is very good and close to downtown restaurants. I even decided to not rent a car and instead hired a car and driver to visit the surrounding bodegas. I agree with other reviewers that the lobby and staff are great but the rooms are dated and small. The included breakfast is very good and served in a large downstairs room.

For wine tours, I used Javier Caruso, a sommelier. He has a nice car and does tailor-made tours. My wife, daughter, and I love good wine so we wanted to do some of the best bodegas in the surrounding area. He charges $150 for the day and you can visit 3 or 4 bodegas. We liked him so much, we even hired him to take us to the mountains and Aconcagua National Park.
